Pap smears and pelvic exams
A Pap smear checks the cervix for cell changes that can lead to cervical cancer, and it is one of the most important routine screenings a woman can have. Dr. Yunis will tell you how often you need one based on your age and history. The exam is brief, and he talks you through each step.
STD testing
Many infections cause no symptoms, so testing is the only way to know. You can get tested whether you have symptoms or just want peace of mind, and it can be done at the same visit as an exam or another service. Tell Dr. Yunis your concerns and he will recommend the right tests. Your results are private.
Birth control
There is no one best method. Dr. Yunis will talk through your health, your plans and your preferences, and help you choose. Options include pills and long-acting methods such as a Mirena IUD, which can be placed in the office. We can also help if you need emergency contraception.

You see an experienced OB/GYN at a fair price, in a private office with an all-female support staff. You do not need to be having an abortion to be our patient. We are bilingual, so you can talk in English or Spanish.
